| IntelliChief | Legacy | IntelliChief AP Automation | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Hydrite implemented IntelliChief AP Automation as an enterprise content management and AP Automation solution to centralize invoice and order documentation. The U.S.-based deployment targeted finance and customer-service process areas and sought to eliminate paper overload while improving order and invoice visibility, aligning the application with AP Automation business functions.
IntelliChief AP Automation was configured to provide centralized document capture, automated invoice processing with optical character recognition and data extraction, a secure content repository, and workflow orchestration for approvals and exception handling. Configuration emphasized cross-ERP document indexing and unified access to support concurrent invoice and order workflows across disparate systems.
The implementation integrated IntelliChief with multiple ERPs, specifically JD Edwards, Infor, and IBM Maximo, using content linking and connector patterns to surface documents alongside ERP transactions. Architecturally IntelliChief was provisioned as the enterprise content hub, routing captured documents to ERP records, stamping metadata, and enabling document retrieval across systems to reduce manual search and paper routing.
Deployment scope focused on finance and customer-service groups within U.S. operations, accompanied by standardized approval workflows, role based access controls, and retention policies to govern document lifecycle. The vendor case study documents improved retention, cross-ERP access and workflow efficiency as direct outcomes of the IntelliChief AP Automation implementation.

In 2020, Hydrite implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management solution to centralize asset stewardship and MRO processes across its chemical manufacturing and distribution operations. IBM Maximo was deployed to manage asset records, support branch location noninventory purchases, and control maintenance, repair and operations inventory.
The implementation emphasized asset lifecycle and inventory control capabilities typical of Enterprise Asset Management, including work order management, parts and spare inventory configuration, and branch-level purchase workflow automation. Configuration work focused on aligning branch noninventory purchasing workflows with maintenance planning and spare parts replenishment to reduce manual handoffs between operations and procurement.
IBM Maximo was integrated with Oracle JD Edwards for finance, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and with Infor PRISM to surface manufacturing documents, purchasing data and production information into maintenance and procurement processes. The solution was deployed across corporate and branch sites to create a single operational view of assets and MRO inventory while maintaining transactional handoffs to ERP and manufacturing systems.
IntelliChief supported the deployment, contributing to configuration and document management integration aligned to existing ERP and manufacturing systems. Governance work established centralized asset stewardship roles and redefined purchase approval workflows for branch noninventory buys, enabling consistent operational processes across Hydrite’s sites.
