In 2017 ICU Medical executed an Oracle E-Business Suite upgrade project to move the corporate EBS instance to R12.2.6, aligning a core ERP Financial footprint with updated Oracle stack components. The upgrade engagement ran from November 2017 to April 2018 and centered on stabilizing OTC and SCM flows while preserving custom CEMLI assets and integrations.
The implementation and configuration work covered a broad set of modules, including Order Management, Shipping, Advanced Pricing, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Bills of Material, Work in Process, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, HRMS, iSupplier and iProcurement, ASCP, Quotes, and WMS. The team performed full setups for OM, Shipping and Advance Pricing, created WMS replenishment tasks and picking rules, configured ASCP for MRP items, provisioned two new inventory organizations, and handled INV, BOM, WIP and costing setups. Pricing was scoped through a Pricing Business Requirement Study and documented in functional specifications, with gap identification and technical specification handoffs for custom development.
Integrations and interface work were extensive, including EDI mapping and processing for transaction sets 940, 945, 944, 850, 856, 832 and 861, and building EDI mappings for order import, invoice data into AR and purchase order data. The project orchestrated module integrations across AR, GL, AP, OM, WMS and INV within the EBS system, developed a new interface to load employee expenses into Payables, and designed Oracle BPEL web service processes that created OM service requests via PL/SQL packages and Web Service Manager security. Technical delivery leveraged Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.6, Forms 10g, Reports 10g, OA Framework customizations, BI Publisher, SQL and PL/SQL, JDeveloper, and Sun Solaris, with lead ownership of CEMLI components and scripts to migrate Forms, OAF pages and reports between instances.
Governance and testing emphasized process alignment and risk control, with business collaboration to baseline NPI as is processes and derive to be flows, formulation of test cases and scenarios with QA, unit and flow testing across AR, AP, OM, QP, BOM, INV and PO, and assistance for business acceptance testing and sign off. The delivery included conducting pre project and post project reviews, producing BR100 and MD50 documentation, preparing BRDs and functional designs for change requests, troubleshooting production issues in Order Management, Advanced Pricing and Inventory, and providing post implementation support and run book artifacts.

| UKG | ADP Enterprise eTIME | UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) | Time and Attendance | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, ICU Medical implemented UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) as its Time and Attendance application. The deployment replaced ADP Enterprise eTIME and was scoped to the companys Netherlands operations, addressing time capture and attendance management for the organization of approximately 10 employees.
The implementation configured core Time and Attendance capabilities including time capture, exception management, scheduling and pay-rule processing typical of this category. UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper was provisioned to manage clock-in workflows, electronic timecards, exception escalation and standard attendance reporting, with configuration focused on local labor rule compliance and payroll-ready time records.
The program ran alongside a separate HRIS migration from a custom HR system to Oracle and was led by an internal project lead who coordinated sequencing between the two efforts. Governance emphasized role-based access, approval workflows and cutover sequencing to ensure time and attendance workflows and HR record structures were aligned during the Oracle HRIS transition.
