The Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits deployment was configured as part of a broader Oracle Cloud HCM footprint that includes Core HR and Workforce Compensation, aligning benefits processing with existing HR and compensation modules. The INL HRIS team staffed an Oracle HCM HR/Benefits Functional Lead and Implementation Analyst to provide functional expertise in solution design, module implementation and configuration, business process analysis, quarterly system update oversight, validation testing, system integration oversight, and deployment. Ex Libris, a ProQuest Company Legacy ExLibris Aleph Library Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2021 2021
In 2021 Idaho National Laboratory implemented ExLibris Aleph as its enterprise library system, deploying ExLibris Aleph as the primary Library Management platform. The application is surfaced on the Idaho National Laboratory website to provide public catalog discovery and to support internal library services for researchers and staff. The deployment includes core Library Management functional modules typical of an Aleph implementation, including cataloging and authority control, holdings and item-level management, patron records and circulation workflows, serials control and acquisitions processing, and a discovery layer for online public access. Configuration emphasis was placed on MARC-compliant metadata management, holdings mapping, and workflow automation for check-in/check-out and serials receipt. ExLibris Aleph is integrated into the INL web presence to expose the public catalog and discovery interfaces, supporting both external patron access and internal research discovery. Operational scope focuses on the laboratory library and research support functions, with the system supporting catalog maintenance, patron services, and resource discovery across the institution. Governance for the Aleph implementation is centered in the institutional library service team, which manages metadata standards, access controls, and circulation policies, and coordinates ongoing configuration and cataloging processes. Ongoing operational activity is organized around structured metadata governance and library workflow ownership to maintain catalog integrity and discovery performance.

Textio Legacy Textio Augmented Writing Platform Natural Language Processing AI-Powered Application n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Idaho National Laboratory implemented the Textio Augmented Writing Platform. The Textio Augmented Writing Platform is a Natural Language Processing application and was introduced to support recruiting and HR content creation across the laboratory. The implementation focused on augmenting job description drafting and candidate communications, leveraging Textio's language analysis and writing guidance capabilities to standardize recruiting content. Configuration and adoption were led by INL HR functional leads who embedded the platform into talent acquisition workflows and operationalized usage for Talent Acquisition and HR business partners. The Textio rollout was coordinated alongside INL's broader HR systems landscape, which includes Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud, PeopleSoft HCM, Taleo and an HR Data Mart. Project coordination included liaison with external consultants during implementation, and the Textio workstream aligned with other integration projects such as the Truescreen to Taleo implementation. Governance relied on existing HR change boards and data stewardship processes, with the HR Computer Systems Administrator and representative change board members overseeing configuration, testing and ongoing support. Training sessions, demonstrations, and user guides were created to enable Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, University Partnership and Information Management to adopt Textio for recruiting and HR communications.
