The implementation leveraged DNV Cascade functionality for inspection management, maintenance scheduling and timekeeping, and Idaho Power expanded its asset register and work procedures inside DNV Cascade. The configuration centralized procedure records and inspection outcomes, enabling analysts to run examinations of historical data that were previously infeasible and to manage workload through the application rather than ad hoc spreadsheets. Operational coverage included field maintenance teams and asset management staff across Idaho Power service territory in Idaho and eastern Oregon, supporting maintenance, inspections and workforce planning business functions. By using the timekeeping features in DNV Cascade, Idaho Power was able to quantify man-hours against documented procedures to justify staffing decisions, and to maintain control of increased equipment counts and added work procedures while continuing to manage workload effectively.
