Viewpoint Spectrum was configured to enforce job level cost capture, automate period close activities, and standardize revenue recognition workflows consistent with construction accounting practices. The implementation included template configuration for contract billing and change order accounting to align project and financial reporting.
Operational integration aligned Spectrum with time and expense capture, subcontractor invoicing workflows, and procurement processing to ensure end to end transaction flow from field activity to financial close. The Spectrum deployment incorporated role based access controls, approval routing for payables and change orders, and consolidated reporting structures to support month end close and project forecasting processes. Data conversion and master data governance focused on vendor, employee, job, and cost code harmonization to support ongoing operations.
Governance was structured around a finance led program office with cross functional representation from operations and project management, enabling staged rollouts, user training, and process documentation.
