Configurations emphasized invoice image capture, automated indexing, vendor setup workflows capturing W-9 and certificate of insurance documentation, and an auditable record of expense reimbursements and disbursements to support 1099 reporting processes.
Operational integrations included use of ResMan for sending and processing invoices alongside the AvidXchange ecosystem, and direct alignment with internal accounting communications used to resolve vendor disputes and clear payment issues. The implementation scoped primary use to Accounts Payable specialists and accounting staff who managed vendor onboarding, invoice research, petty cash and expense reimbursements, and timely processing of loan and mortgage payments.
Governance centered on formalizing vendor documentation workflows and maintaining an audit trail within AvidInvoice to support compliance and audit readiness.
