Device integration work for anesthesia and Spacelab devices was implemented to feed perioperative and inpatient documentation flows, and the Reporting Workbench was used to surface clinical and operational data for those integrated device workflows. The implementation explicitly covered multiple facilities and departments, providing a unified reporting layer across perioperative areas, cath and endo labs, emergency departments and interventional radiology.
Governance and rollout were managed by a Clinical Analyst RN Team Lead model responsible for workflow analysis, build, training, integrated testing and on-call support for all Epic clinical applications. System-wide Epic upgrades were executed in later waves, with documented builds for the 2015 and 2018 upgrades that encompassed the Reporting Workbench and associated clinical builds across the health system.
