In 2014, INTCOMEX Group implemented Apero Latitude ERP to support Enterprise resource planning across its Ecuador operations, aligning the application with finance, credit and collections business functions. Apero Latitude ERP was positioned to centralize transactional finance data and to provide structured workflows for portfolio review and recovery and the generation and analysis of debt capacity.
The deployment was configured with functional capabilities aligned to accounts receivable reconciliation, credit management and collections, withholding and payment review, and reporting and analytics. Apero Latitude ERP was also used to operationalize portfolio review processes and to house credit tools used for debt capacity analysis, while retaining Excel pivot table processes for advanced ad hoc analysis.
Configuration included management and consolidation of operational records associated with the computer systems Trax, Sentai, Saci and BO to support customer account reconciliation and special business monitoring. The implementation covered finance and credit teams and standardized monitoring workflows for special business with the State, consolidating disparate transactional inputs into a single Enterprise resource planning system.
Governance changes focused on codifying portfolio recovery procedures, establishing standardized reconciliation and withholding review workflows, and shifting spreadsheet-dependent pivot analysis into repeatable reporting routines within Apero Latitude ERP. Process controls were implemented to support ongoing portfolio reviews and recovery operations, and to centralize the management of customer account balances and credit assessments.
