In 2006, Integrity Supply implemented Oracle NetSuite Commerce to establish a formal eCommerce channel for sales and customer self-service. The deployment addressed a small business footprint of roughly 15 employees, concentrating on online storefront capability and centralized order capture to support sales, fulfillment, finance, and customer support functions.
The implementation of Oracle NetSuite Commerce included configuration of core eCommerce modules typical to the category, such as product catalog management, merchandising and pricing rules, shopping cart and checkout workflows, customer account management, and order management. Catalog and SKU configuration was set up to surface product attributes and pricing tiers, while checkout flows and tax calculations were configured to support U.S. retail transactions.
Operationally the system was provisioned as the primary online sales channel and integrated into internal operational workflows for order-to-cash and fulfillment orchestration. Data flows were established between the commerce storefront and back-office operational processes for inventory visibility, order processing, invoicing, and customer service case handling to ensure consistent transactional records across sales and finance teams.
Governance and rollout emphasized administrative role separation, catalog governance and approval workflows, and staged onboarding of staff into merchandising, order operations, and customer support roles. Training and process documentation focused on day-to-day commerce operations, order exception handling, and catalog lifecycle management to sustain the Oracle NetSuite Commerce environment for ongoing eCommerce operations.
