In 2017 International Applications completed an SAP Business One upgrade within its ERP Financial program. The eight month project was led by the Business Systems Manager from February to September 2017, concentrating on centralizing financial control and distribution workflows for the UK distributor.
The implementation work focused on configuring core ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, sales order processing, and purchasing workflows consistent with small‑to‑midmarket ERP Financial deployments. SAP Business One was tuned to support order orchestration and inventory valuation processes typical to distribution operations.
Integrations implemented during the project included a new ecommerce platform to promote sales growth and a MAM Autopart implementation to align parts management with order and inventory processes. Operational coverage explicitly targeted finance, sales, operations, and IT functions at the Banbury site, coordinating commerce, inventory and order-to-cash flows.
Program governance incorporated developing the IT strategy, leading GDPR compliance activities, and completing a review of third party suppliers, while the Business Systems Manager reported successful completion of the SAP Business One upgrade and streamlined processes through targeted technology configuration.
