Acumatica Legacy Acumatica Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 International Pipe implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform to consolidate finance, inventory, order and customer management across its distribution operations. The Oklahoma City headquartered distributor operates as three companies with 15 pipe yards and 14 additional locations nationwide, and had operated on SouthWare ERP which required code-based navigation and lacked reporting and lead tracking. The deployment used Acumatica Distribution Edition and configured Advanced Financial Management with Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, Order Management, and Acumatica Customer Management to unify transactional, inventory and customer master data. Configuration work included intercompany processing, custom dashboards, and reporting functionality that replaced manual Excel spreadsheets and individualized salesperson tracking methods. Operational coverage extended across finance, sales and distribution workflows for all three legal entities and the companys pipe yards, providing cloud access to executives and field staff and enabling drill down into cash balances, accounts receivable and order pipelines from a single interface. The Acumatica Cloud ERP intercompany module reduced the need to log in to multiple systems to produce consolidated reports and simplified cross-entity reporting and reconciliation. Governance and process changes centered on centralizing lead tracking inside Acumatica Customer Management, standardizing sales notes and workflows, and instituting month end close processes within the application. Outcomes reported by the company include restored CRM capability, saved user time and productivity gains, built custom dashboards and reporting, and a reduction in monthly close time from 15 days to three to four days.
