| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | Christiaens | 2015 | 2016 | In 2015, InterWest implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its core ERP Financial platform. Christiaens served as the systems integrator for the deployment at the Belgium based manufacturing company with roughly 500 employees, positioning Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to centralize transactional finance and operational record keeping. The implementation focused on standard ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger configuration, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, bank and cash management, procurement and purchasing controls, inventory management tailored to manufacturing operations, and sales order processing workflows. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was configured with role specific access and process-oriented modules to support finance and operations teams, with template chart of accounts and month end close sequences aligned to company requirements. Integrations were explicitly implemented with Jet Reports to provide operational and financial reporting and self service report distribution for accounting and management. The configuration emphasized data continuity between transactional modules and reporting, enabling consistent financial statements and operational metrics within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Jet Reports. Governance and operational rollout included centralized process definitions for accounting, approval workflows for purchasing and payables, and role based security to segregate duties across finance, procurement and sales functions. Christiaens led the phased rollout across InterWest business functions, establishing configuration governance, change controls and documentation to sustain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Financial environment. |
