InCloud Solutions reconfigured SAP Business ByDesign to align financial coding and reporting with project accounting workflows. The engagement focused on configuring project accounting, financial coding standards, layered approval workflow configuration, and operational reporting templates to surface project-level financials in the SAP Business ByDesign environment. Project Managers were enabled with approval authority and cost control capabilities through the adjusted workflows and coding, shifting ownership from a single finance gatekeeper to the delivery teams. The work impacted the finance function and project delivery teams across the UK operations, providing consolidated visibility into on-going projects within the ERP Financial system. SAP Business ByDesign was configured to deliver operational reporting and control that matched the UK business requirements, and the deployment included a Key User Agreement with InCloud Solutions to provide on-going application support and issue resolution.
