| SAP | Legacy | SAP Concur Expense | Expense Management | ERP | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013, Ironshore deployed SAP Concur Expense to centralize Expense Management for corporate administration, travel expense workflows, and administrative support functions. The SAP Concur Expense implementation focused on expense reporting and travel documentation within corporate administration, and it included explicit processes for Concur Travel Expenses and ongoing audit table maintenance.
Configuration work centered on expense report submission, travel expense documentation capture, and audit table updates, using SAP Concur Expense as the authoritative expense platform. Invoice processing for some finance tasks continued in Excel 2007, while expense transactions and receipts were routed through Concur Travel Expenses and reconciled against the Concur audit tables.
The deployment interoperated with named productivity and document systems in use at the time, including Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for resume intake, NetDocs for document organization, and daily administrative tooling such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel 2007. Operational coverage spanned corporate administration, CAOS management staff calendar management, reception and mailroom backup, and coordination with claims handling teams who received coverage letters and premium finance notices.
Governance and process controls emphasized administrative workflow standardization and record management, with staff updating audit tables, renaming and creating NetDocs subfolders, indexing premium finance notices, and reassigning or transferring claims and records in the MFX system. SAP Concur Expense provided a centralized Expense Management record while ancillary Excel and SharePoint processes continued to support related administrative and HR tasks such as badge creation and calendar coordination.
