In 2015, Irvine Company implemented Serrala FinanceSuite in an AP Automation deployment, using the Serrala FS2 application on SAP Fiori to address Accounts Payable, Invoice Approvals, Expense reporting, and Check requests. The implementation positioned Serrala FinanceSuite as the primary AP Automation platform for invoice and expense workflow orchestration within the finance organization.
The Serrala FS2 configuration delivered discrete functional modules for Accounts Payable processing, invoice approval workflows, expense reporting, and check request management through SAP Fiori interfaces. Standard AP Automation capabilities were emphasized, including automated invoice handling, rule-based approval routing, and centralized expense submission workflows configured to SAP Fiori user experiences.
The program was executed as a $520,000 engagement over seven months, staffed by ten resources and managed with one vendor, Serrala. Deployment architecture centered on Serrala FS2 front-end components running on SAP Fiori, with formal phases covering implementation, testing, cutover, and production support.
Governance was led by an enterprise implementation leader and organized into phased rollout activities, with testing, cutover, implementation, and production support phases completed remotely during COVID-19 for later stages. Operational coverage focused on finance and accounting functions at Irvine Company, standardizing invoice approval governance and AP workflow controls.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2005 | 2005 |
In 2005, Irvine Company implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR platform, establishing a central HR record and employee lifecycle framework. The implementation supported core HR responsibilities across HR, payroll, and benefits administration, and included Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service capabilities as operational touchpoints.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was configured to handle Time Accrual and payroll processing workflows, with explicit payroll configuration duties performed in SAP including modification of payroll and time schemas. The deployment encompassed ESS MSS interfaces and payroll-related schema adjustments, reflecting a focus on payroll orchestration and time driven accrual logic.
Integrations were a core component of the implementation, with ongoing system management and technical integration between SAP and ADP for a gross only payroll conversion led by the IT Lead and subject matter expert. The IT Lead also directed a benefits conversion to AON Hewitt and supported KRONOS timekeeping integration, while serving as the IT subject matter expert for integration between SAP HR On Premise and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Governance and operational ownership rested with IT personnel responsible for SAP support across HR Payroll and Benefits, including ongoing management of integration interfaces and payroll schema maintenance. Business functions impacted include HR operations, payroll processing, benefits administration, and timekeeping, with IT established as the central point for system configuration, conversion leadership, and cross system integration management.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Irvine Company implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) as part of a Field Service Management deployment across sales and marketing operations. The rollout was executed on Salesforce Lightning with Field Service Lightning core components, and it encompassed coordinated Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and omni channel Field Service Lightning implementations to unify service scheduling and customer engagement workflows.
Configuration work included building Marketing Cloud Journeys and automation using Automation Studio, Email Studio and Mobile Studio, and maintaining ExactTarget based email campaigns. For field operations the implementation leveraged standard Field Service Lightning capabilities including work order and service appointment management, scheduling and dispatcher console functionality, and mobile workforce enablement, while customizations addressed complex reports and dashboards for CEOs, directors and managers.
Integrations were implemented with Apttus products including Apttus CLM and X Author for document generation in Microsoft Word, with DocuSign for signature workflows, and with third party systems including SAP and Oracle integrations and a Heroku app integration. Dell Boomi and platform components such as Force.com and AppExchange apps were part of the environment architecture, and data flows were managed via Data Loader imports into Leads, Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities.
Governance and delivery used Agile methodology with epics and sprint level user stories tracked in JIRA, test case and test module documentation in Confluence, and UAT test strategies and plans developed for a Center of Excellence. The program included ongoing coordination with the product owner, business teams and product management, extensive testing of developed applications and integrations, and support and administration work for Salesforce, Salesforce1 and related AppExchange projects.
