| Frontier Software | Legacy | Frontier Software iChris | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013 Johnson Winter & Slattery implemented Frontier Software iChris to centralize Core HR across its Australian legal practice. The deployment targeted HR and payroll administration for approximately 400 employees and established a single source of employee master data for the firm.
The Frontier Software iChris implementation configured core functional modules typical for Core HR, including employee records and organizational management, position and job data, leave and absence management, time capture and rostering support, end to end payroll processing workflows, document management for personnel files, and reporting and analytics for HR operations. Configuration emphasized standardized data models and role based access controls to support accurate payroll runs and consistent personnel administration.
Integrations were modeled to support operational handoffs between HR, payroll and adjacent systems, with interfaces for payroll processing, corporate travel management workflows and the firm content management system, plus data export paths for Microsoft Excel reporting. Operational coverage included HR, payroll, finance administrators and office managers across the firm, consolidating transaction and master data for downstream financial and compliance processes.
Governance included formalized approval workflows for leave and payroll changes, centralized HR process ownership and documented procedures to support recurring payroll cycles and employee lifecycle events. Training and procedural onboarding were part of the rollout to ensure daily HR administration leveraged Frontier Software iChris capabilities.

| Aderant | Legacy | Aderant Expert | Legal Practice Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Johnson Winter & Slattery implemented Aderant Expert as its Legal Practice Management application. The firm positioned Aderant Expert as the core financial management system to consolidate billing and matter-level financial controls across the practice.
Aderant Expert was configured to receive detailed time and task records, leveraging the Aderant API to exchange financial data in and out of the FMS system. Integration with Intapp Time provided passive and mobile time capture so the firm could consume time entries directly into Aderant Expert for billing and work-in-progress accounting.
Intapp Time was deployed to more than 250 lawyers and staff across the firm’s Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney offices, and the deployment was supported by Intapp Professional Services. Johnson Winter & Slattery used Intapp Integrate as the systems integration backbone for more than three years, creating a persistent integration layer between time capture, practice management, and financial ledgers.
Operationally the Aderant Expert deployment supported finance and fee-earner workflows by providing up-to-the-moment work-in-progress records and compliance controls tied to time entry. The combined Aderant Expert and Intapp Time implementation accelerated the billing cycle, with Intapp Time delivering a 75% increase in the speed of time entry release and reducing average entry release time from eight days to two days.

| DocuSign | Legacy | DocuSign eSignature | Digital Signing | Content Management | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Johnson Winter & Slattery implemented DocuSign eSignature as a Digital Signing solution on its public website. The deployment embeds DocuSign eSignature workflows directly into website pages to enable web-initiated eSignature capture, envelope management, and a persistent audit trail for client-facing documents. The solution supports signing workflows and authentication controls typical of digital signing implementations, applied to client engagement and document execution processes across the firm in Australia.
Technical configuration centers on an embedded signing integration on the website, with DocuSign eSignature handling template-based document generation, recipient routing, and signature capture within the browser experience. Governance appears oriented around centralized template and workflow configuration to enforce consistent signing practices and compliance controls across practice groups, while operational use is focused on client intake and matter execution rather than internal HR or finance functions.
