Joseph Group implemented SAP Business One in 2017 as its ERP Financial platform for a consolidated group of 11 companies operating in production and internal and external retail sectors in the United Arab Emirates. The architecture used a centralized SAP Business One environment with company level configuration and master data controls to preserve legal entity autonomy while enabling consolidated reporting and intercompany processing. Configuration emphasized a single source of item, vendor and customer masters and fiscal calendars to reduce reconciliation effort across the 11 companies.
Governance focused on a phased rollout across the group, standardizing chart of accounts and procurement and finance processes, and instituting role based access and process ownership for finance, sales, production and HR teams. Change management and training were scaled to business unit needs to align operational teams to the new SAP Business One ERP Financial workflows.

SAP Business One Sales was deployed as the front end for commercial workflows and was implemented alongside modules for Production, Sales, Purchase, PM, HCM and Finance in production environments. The SAP Business One Sales implementation included configuration of standard Sales Automation capabilities such as order entry, pricing and discounting rules, inventory availability checks and sales document lifecycle controls to align with group trading and retail processes.
Operational coverage spanned the Groups 11 legal entities, targeting functional teams in sales, purchasing, production, human resources and finance, and addressing both internal retail and external retail channels. The deployment was structured to support centralized master data for items and customers while enabling transactional processing at company level to reflect each entitys financials and operations.
