Joseph Group implemented SAP Business One in 2017 as its ERP Financial platform for a consolidated group of 11 companies operating in production and internal and external retail sectors in the United Arab Emirates. The deployment targeted core transactional finance and end to end operational functions to unify accounting, inventory and operational processes across the group. SAP Business One was configured to deliver Production, Sales, Purchase, Project Management, Human Capital Management and Finance modules, with the Finance module deployed across production and both internal and external retail operations. The implementation established standard functional workflows consistent with ERP Financial systems, including order to cash, procure to pay, production planning and payroll and project costing support. Configuration emphasized a single source of item, vendor and customer masters and fiscal calendars to reduce reconciliation effort across the 11 companies. Governance focused on a phased rollout across the group, standardizing chart of accounts and procurement and finance processes, and instituting role based access and process ownership for finance, sales, production and HR teams. Change management and training were scaled to business unit needs to align operational teams to the new SAP Business One ERP Financial workflows.
