The deployment was executed as a single multi-agency platform to enable real-time information sharing across agencies, and it operates across 30 main and 15 back-up PSAP workstations with mobile command capability for field coordination. Atos has provided implementation, maintenance and ongoing evolution of the GEMMA platform since 2000, and the solution design emphasizes a robust, modern multi-agency architecture that adapts to integrated public safety control room requirements. Governance and operational workflows were reshaped to support direct administration management, with a concentric workstation layout and supervisory oversight intended to maximize cross-agency collaboration and situational awareness. The implementation centralized emergency call taking, dispatch, supervision and resource coordination, improving communication paths between first responders, medical staff and command teams. Reported outcomes tied to the deployment include increased agility, efficiency and service quality in a low density region and a transit corridor, a high level of integration between emergency response components, smooth secure real-time transfer of information and resource optimization, and significant savings in infrastructure and platform maintenance.
