The implementation of Hitachi Ventyx FocalPoint Suite encompassed asset monitoring and condition-oriented capabilities typical of Asset Performance Management workflows, with configuration work focused on real-time telemetry ingestion, visualization, and asset repository alignment. Evergy provided communications infrastructure design and performed configuration of ABB Network Manager and OSI Monarch EMS systems to ensure the FocalPoint Suite could consume operational telemetry, and the project included iterative SCADA database and display builds and updates as the physical and logical infrastructure evolved.
Integrations were centered on OSI Monarch EMS and ABB Network Manager, with direct work to integrate the Aquila OSI Monarch instance used by KCPL into the control center environment.
