In 2006, Kaspersky implemented Nexway Monetize Subscription and Billing to manage recurring commerce and centralized subscription operations. The deployment targeted the Subscription and Recurring Billing category to unify payment orchestration, subscription lifecycle management, and recurring invoicing across its European footprint.
Nexway Monetize Subscription and Billing was configured to handle core functional modules including payment processing and subscription billing, subscription plan and entitlement management, customer support workflows, and tax and fraud handling. The later addition of Nexway’s AI-powered subscription tool Smart Replay extended automated retention and replay capabilities to subscription lifecycle orchestration.
Operational coverage spans multiple European markets, explicitly including France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, with a strategic push into Southern Europe. The implementation connected eCommerce subscription flows with billing and support operations, centralizing recurring payment operations and customer support processes for consumer and channel sales.
Governance followed a long-term vendor engagement model with phased regional rollouts and ongoing configuration to address tax and fraud complexities across jurisdictions. The long-term engagement included deployment of Smart Replay to support Southern Europe expansion and drove double-digit growth in customer lifetime value.
