In 2010, KBA implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 in the ERP Financial category. The program targeted core financial and transactional operations at KBA, a Germany-based professional services firm with approximately 5,593 employees and reported revenue of 1,161,000,000 euros. Operationally the deployment unified transaction processing across finance, procurement and sales order functions, routing customer order entry and supplier invoices into a central ERP Financial system for accounting and cash reconciliation. Configuration emphasized master data stabilization for vendors, customers and the chart of accounts, and established standardized transaction flows for procure to pay and order to cash. Governance and rollout followed a phased module activation model with centralized finance ownership for posting rules, approval workflows and master data governance. The project focused on embedding end to end transactional discipline for treasury, purchasing, AR and AP to create consistent financial processes across the organization.
