The implementation work was concentrated around Oak Brook, IL resources and involved hands on configuration and end user engagement with timekeepers, managers, central payroll, and HR teams. Configuration and functional scope centered on time and leave modules, including pay rules and pay codes, attendance tracking, accruals configuration, and display and function access profiles for security. The project built pay rule building blocks for overtime, holiday, and rounding rules, and included unit testing and UAT cycles with delivered training material and end user training for timekeepers and managers. UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager was explicitly configured to enforce role based access through Display and Function Access profiles and to support daily scheduling and timekeeping data entry by departmental schedulers. The implementation included data integration and reconciliation components, with ETL style Extract Transform Load modules developed to move scheduling and timekeeping data into downstream stores. A Blend Reconciliation tool was built on Dotnet and SQL Server to allow schedulers to review blend data prior to database upload, and the team worked on Kronos interface and outbound payroll file issues with HR and Payroll. These integration efforts tied operational scheduling and timekeeping into central payroll processing and HR records. Project governance followed SDLC practices with JAD and JAR sessions for requirements gathering and validation, and work plans were created for the client super user team to execute test scenarios and achieve expected results. The implementation included day to day coordination of data collection and input into scheduling and timekeeping, ongoing support to operations leadership and payroll, and the production of training deliverables to scale user adoption. The program also involved troubleshooting and remediation activities in support of a pending upgrade to the Kronos Workforce Manager application, with consultants providing operational support and issue resolution while maintaining system access and security configurations.
