In 2008, Kerry implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as part of an ERP Financial deployment. The Data Services Lead created and maintained an Accelerated Master Data Management (AMDM) system and framework to prepare master and transactional data in advance of SAP deployment and the KerryConnect consolidation program.
The program included configuration and data migration of core financial and operational data, with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 handling sales, purchasing, stock, goods receipt, and AR, AP and GL items. Workstreams incorporated SAP modules MM, LE and WM and planning interfaces with APO during site deployments. A mobile Windows CE counting application and SQL data automation were developed to capture and migrate WM transactional data, supporting 30 plus site migrations for warehouse management.
Operational integration covered EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas, supporting deployment of SAP MDM and ECC across 24 sites in eight conversion cycles. The AMDM framework managed 80 integrated data sources and over 3 million records, and provided self service front-end access to persist cleansed data and avoid Excel driven manual processes. Data quality and matching criteria were established through business engagement, and a suite of KPI resources was created to measure performance.
Governance was centralized through the AMDM program, with regional developer teams coordinated for defect resolution and functionality development, inline training on BODS and AMDM delivered to technical and business colleagues, and technical hiring and on the job training managed by the Data Services Lead. The implementation also supported integration of newly acquired systems outside the KerryConnect program.
Explicit outcomes recorded during the AMDM driven deployment included a 90 percent reduction in quality issues within six months and a 14 percent reduction in vendor accounts across the Asia Pacific region. The program also enabled identification of roughly 50 percent of products with no activity in six months and highlighted 5 percent of vendors with payment terms below 30 days, creating opportunities for commercial follow up.

In 2018, Kerry implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR application. The deployment was positioned under a global implementation approach led by the Global HRIS Manager, establishing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the central HR master data store to support Talent Acquisition, HR operations, and workforce administration across the business.
The implementation encompassed configuration of Core HR capabilities typical of the Core HR category, including core employee master data modeling, organizational management, and hire-to-retire workflows. Workstreams included close functional alignment with SuccessFactors Recruiting Management, Recruiting Marketing, and Onboarding to manage cross-module impacts, and the HRIS team produced functional documentation, test scripts, and user acceptance testing artifacts to validate changes prior to production.
Integrations and operational coverage were coordinated with ICT and HR stakeholders, reflecting named system interfaces referenced by the HRIS team such as Employee Central Payroll and ADP for payroll, Kronos for time capture, and ServiceNow and Opentext for HR service and content processes. Governance practices emphasized cross-functional change control, SLA adherence, training material validation, and business requirement capture from Global Talent Acquisition, with the HRIS Analyst role supporting remote work from Ireland and periodic engagement at site offices in Naas, Co Kildare.

In 2016, Kerry implemented Microsoft Power BI to support Analytics and BI reporting for business users across its sales and reporting functions. The deployment centered on a SQL Server based data platform and a downstream reporting layer built with Microsoft Power BI, positioning Kerry Microsoft Power BI Analytics and BI to serve multiple types of information consumers.
The implementation architecture used an intake-database and a staging database pattern in SQL Server 2016, with extensive T SQL development including stored procedures, triggers, functions, views and indexes to consolidate MS Sales hierarchies and business logic. Extraction and transformation work was executed with MS SQL Integration Services 2014 and 2016, ingesting data from Access databases, Excel spreadsheets and flat files using SSIS transformations such as data conversion, conditional split, bulk insert, merge and union all, and scheduled nightly and weekly job tasks for regular loads.
A semantic reporting layer was created using SSAS Tabular cubes deployed to SQL Server Analysis Services 2016, built with multiple fact measure groups, dimension hierarchies, partitions, perspectives, KPI definitions and calculated measures authored in DAX. Row level security and roles were implemented in the SSAS Tabular Model, and Microsoft Power BI reports connected to the Tabular Model via the Analysis connector, with reports and dashboards published to Power BI preview portal and made available in web clients and mobile apps. Visual design work included stacked and clustered bar charts, scatter, pie and donut charts, line and clustered column combinations, maps, slicers and time brush controls, along with page level, report level and visual level filters, content packs and per tile refresh scheduling.
Deployment and governance used TFS for code check in of database objects and stored procedures, and JIRA for version control and task tracking, with responsibility for integration, functional and user acceptance testing and for ongoing maintenance and scheduled releases. The implementation adhered to department and organizational standards and centralized the Analytics and BI reporting stack around Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server based ETL and semantic modeling, supporting Kerry business reporting and analytics workflows.
