In 2014, KIBAG Zurich implemented Abacus HR to centralise HR across its business units and digitalise core personnel workflows. Abacus HR, Category: , became the primary application for employee records and operational HR coordination across multiple sites.
The implementation consolidated functional modules for employee development, spesen and structured employee dialogues within Abacus HR, using standard human resources administration capabilities such as personnel master data, development planning, expense processing and performance dialogue workflows. Configuration work emphasized centralized master data, role-based access for HR administrators and managers, and automation of routine HR transactions to reduce manual administrative effort.
The program was a long-term, site-spanning deployment delivered in close collaboration with Abacus partner Axept Business Software AG, aligning local HR teams under a centralized governance model. Operational coverage targeted HR and people management functions, and the rollout intentionally shifted HR work from transactional administration toward advisory activities while standardizing dialogue and expense processes inside Abacus HR.
