The SAP S/4 HANA deployment centered on ERP Financial functionality, with configuration and development work to support core financial management including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and period-end processing. Custom ABAP development was used to extend standard S/4 HANA behavior, with bespoke programs delivered across various modules to meet Kimia Farma business rules and reporting requirements.
Integration work included development of interface programs to connect S/4 HANA to legacy systems, enabling transactional and master data movement between the new ERP and existing enterprise applications. The implementation architecture emphasized ABAP-based interfaces and custom programs as the primary integration mechanism to preserve upstream and downstream system interoperability.
Governance and delivery included on-site technical resources, with a Senior ABAP Consultant assigned during February 2017 to June 2017 responsible for developing custom SAP programs in various modules and for building interface programs to connect legacy systems.
