| CGI Group | Legacy | CGI RFS Retail Banking | Core Banking | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017 Kindred Credit Union implemented CGI RFS Retail Banking, a Core Banking deployment executed with CGI Group as part of CGI RFS360 retail banking redesign activity. The engagement positioned CGI RFS Retail Banking to support Kindred's core banking needs and to enable teller and digital channel modernization under the RFS360 scope identified for early adopters.
The implementation centered on RFS360 core retail banking components and included configuration of account management, teller transaction workflows, deposit and payment processing capabilities consistent with Core Banking functional expectations. Online and mobile banking integrations were implemented to align front-line digital channels with core account and transaction processing, reflecting integrated retail banking and channel orchestration.
Operational coverage focused on retail banking operations including branch teller teams and digital channel operations within Kindred Credit Union's Canadian footprint. Governance followed an early-adopter model with joint configuration and staged rollout workstreams between Kindred and CGI Group, emphasizing phased cutover of teller and digital channel interfaces alongside core banking module configuration.
