| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Sustainability Manager | Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) | EPM | In Two | 2023 | 2023 | In 2023, Kingfisher Singapore deployed Microsoft Sustainability Manager to centralize measurement and reporting of its environmental footprint. The implementation used Microsoft Sustainability Manager within the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) category to provide a single pane of glass for digital emissions and resource consumption across the company’s IT estate. The deployment focused on core Microsoft Sustainability Manager capabilities for data collection, recording, and emissions calculation, with configurable dashboards and reporting slices for monthly emissions, emission per unit of revenue, renewable energy usage, and indirect emissions. Kingfisher configured the platform to allow comparative views by category, month, and region, and Intwo helped customize dashboards and reporting to surface granular operational and employee-level signals. Architecturally the implementation was instrumented against Kingfisher’s Azure-hosted estate, using telemetry and consolidated datasets in the company’s Azure Data Warehouse as primary sources for MSM ingestion. Intwo continued to operate as the strategic systems integrator and service provider, leveraging the existing Azure consolidation and prior Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management integrations to ensure the sustainability platform could draw from operational and financial data where required. Governance and operational rollout emphasized tooling and process changes in IT operations and ESG reporting, with Intwo and Kingfisher refining dashboard logic and data mappings to align measurements with internal accountability. Since the rollout, Kingfisher has been using Microsoft Sustainability Manager to monitor resource allocations, reduce idle consumption in cloud resources, and create targeted reporting that supports employee-facing insights and ongoing ESG program development. | |
