In 2017, Kodilla implemented the SkillPanel Platform, formerly DevSkiller. Kodilla deployed SkillPanel Platform as a Talent Assessment,Skills Intelligence solution to scale and automate coding assessments across its education programs.
The implementation foregrounded automated test grading and test creation workflows within SkillPanel Platform. After deployment Kodilla reported a 400% increase in the number of new tests created, driven by grading automation that reduces manual intervention to approximately 5% of tests which are graded on request. Re-assessing those near pass tests takes Kodilla approximately 5 to 10 minutes compared to 30 minutes prior to introducing the automated assessments.
Operationally the platform supports remote testing, allowing Kodilla to test 100 remote students every month with students selecting time and location while keeping costs low. Kodilla is preparing to introduce mid-course assessments to acclimate students to the platform and provide earlier feedback on skills gaps.
Process and governance shifted toward assessment automation, freeing staff time so Kodilla can focus on product development. Students receive results faster which correlates with improved satisfaction, and internal employee satisfaction increased as the organization eliminated manual grading for 95% of assessments.

Hotjar was provisioned to capture qualitative behavior signals used by product and UX teams to analyze learner journeys and registration flows.
Deployment used Hotjar's standard client side JavaScript snippet, configured to run across course catalog and registration pages, and to collect heatmaps, session recordings, conversion funnels, feedback widgets, and on-site surveys.
