In 2018, Krungthai Card deployed 41 Suprema BioEntry P2 terminals along with additional BioEntry R2 devices at its Bangkok headquarters as part of a centralized access control and time-attendance rollout. The deployment used Suprema BioEntry P2 in a Time Clock (Hardware) implementation to capture biometric attendance and secure door access events for corporate facilities.
CoreStation and BioStar 2 were implemented to centralize device management, authentication policies, and HR time-attendance aggregation, creating a hub and spoke architecture with terminals at entry points and a central server for enrollment, reporting, and audit. The implementation of Suprema BioEntry P2 and BioEntry R2 covered biometric authentication, centralized user provisioning, time-attendance logging, and role based access control, aligning the Time Clock (Hardware) footprint with HR attendance workflows and physical access control functions.
Operational coverage focused on Bangkok headquarters, impacting security operations, human resources, and facilities management, with governance shifted toward centralized provisioning and consolidated audit logging in BioStar 2. The rollout reduced cabling and operational overhead and improved security and manageability as reported, with CoreStation providing orchestration for device failover and policy distribution across the installed terminals.
