In 2016, Kubota implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as an ERP Financial application to centralize finance and accounting functions across the organization. The deployment positioned Oracle NetSuite ERP as the primary system of record for transactional accounting and consolidated financial reporting within Kubota.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to support core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, tax management, and consolidated financial reporting. Configuration work emphasized multi-book and multi-currency accounting capabilities consistent with ERP Financial requirements, along with standard chart of accounts design and period close workflows.
The implementation used a cloud native deployment model typical of Oracle NetSuite ERP, provisioning a centralized financial ledger and role based access controls to align finance operations. Operational scope focused on finance and accounting organizations within Kubota, instrumenting automated month end close tasks and journal workflow approvals.
Governance changes included the introduction of standardized financial controls, formalized approval routing, and documented accounting process flows to support enterprise level financial consolidation. The program emphasized process standardization and system driven controls as the primary mechanism for achieving consistent financial operations under the Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial footprint.

In 2018, Kubota deployed BizReach HRMOS as its applicant tracking system to support recruiting activities. The implementation positions BizReach HRMOS as the primary Recruiting application for online job postings and candidate intake from the company career site.
The BizReach HRMOS configuration focused on standard applicant tracking capabilities, including job posting management, candidate pipeline workflows, requisition intake and approval workflows, and configurable application forms. Recruitment workflow automation and role based access for recruiters and hiring managers were implemented to align sourcing and selection processes with Kubota hiring practices.
Operationally the deployment is integrated with Kubota’s public career site, enabling direct capture of external applicants through career page job listings and application submission flows. The system supports Kubota recruiting and HR teams by centralizing candidate records and enabling staged evaluation consistent with Recruiting functional terminology.
Governance included establishing standardized requisition controls and recruiter versus hiring manager responsibilities within the BizReach HRMOS instance, and defining process ownership for ongoing job posting and candidate pipeline administration. The narrative centers on Kubota, BizReach HRMOS, Recruiting, and the application role as the company ATS on its website.

| IFS | Legacy | IFS Field Service Management (FSM) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Kubota implemented IFS Field Service Management (FSM) within its domestic agricultural machinery sales division to centrally track and manage the lifecycle of every unit by serial number. The deployment focused on Field Service Management capabilities across 18 sales affiliates and partners in Japan, enabling the division to visualize maintenance histories, identify high machine failure risks, and develop preventive and predictive maintenance packages based on historic data.
Kubota selected and configured key modules in IFS Field Service Management including field service management, service parts management, the IFS Mobile app, staff schedule management, and an intuitive dispatch console to visualize field service processes. The program included extensive master data cleansing of three decades of records, incremental piloting with two sales affiliates beginning in 2016, and phased rollout such that by August 2020 the solution was active across 11 additional affiliates and 5 partners, with monthly maintenance planning and progress tracking conducted on PCs and smartphones.
Operational use cases include unit-level life-cycle tracking across changes in ownership, preventive maintenance scheduling to level seasonal workload peaks, on-site parts ordering and invoicing via the mobile app, and cross-center coordination of service projects and staffing through the dispatch console. Kubota intends to further integrate analysis from peripheral systems and the cloud based Kubota Smart Agri System KSAS to enable AI enabled predictive maintenance and to evolve the dispatch console from a data viewer to a process orchestration tool.
Governance for the initiative centered on a staged pilot, data migration and cleansing, and master code updates to standardize records across affiliates, with the company encouraging broader affiliate adoption to shift strategic focus from product sales to service sales. Outcomes explicitly reported include improved work efficiency through maintenance visualization, greater field technician flexibility from the mobile app, a 45% increase in deal closure rate at one affiliate, and a 7% year on year increase in annual field service revenues for agricultural machinery in Japan in 2021.
