In 2019, Kum Wah Malaysia implemented Boostorder Direct as its eCommerce platform to automate distributor ordering for its beverage distribution operations in Malaysia. The deployment focused on improving order to cash, payment reconciliation and inventory workflows, aligning the application with finance and sales functions.
Implementation centered on Boostorder Direct, a private B2B eCommerce portal, and inferred use of Boostorder Sync to provide backend ERP and inventory integration for inventory visibility and automated order processing. Configuration work emphasized catalog management, order capture, online invoicing and reconciliation orchestration, consistent with typical eCommerce order to cash automation.
Operational coverage included distributor channels across Malaysia and internal finance and sales teams, with process changes to centralize order intake and reconcile payments against inventory movements. Governance established transaction workflow ownership in finance for reconciliation and in sales for distributor onboarding and pricing administration, and the implementation standardized digital ordering and finance systems integration.
