Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was configured to support core Order to Cash workflows, including order management, pricing and discounting, fulfillment orchestration, invoicing, and accounts receivable. Configuration work emphasized transactional integrity between sales orders and financial posting, and standard accounting controls consistent with ERP Financial capabilities were applied to billing and revenue recognition processes.
Operational implementation aligned order capture to production scheduling and distribution execution, ensuring order flows moved from sales through manufacturing and distribution centers. The deployment tied production operations subject matter experts into design sessions to map shop floor status and inventory allocations into the ERP Order to Cash lifecycle, preserving continuity between manufacturing execution and financial settlement.
Governance and rollout were organized around a centralized implementation team that acted as process owners and SME leads, with staged site rollouts sequenced by supply center and plant readiness. The configuration supported both curated dashboards for leadership and ad hoc exploration for analysts.
Operational scope centered on the Strategy and Analytics organization and extended to distributed business units responsible for operations, sales analysis, and financial reporting. Governance components included user provisioning, access policies, and structured content ownership to promote consistent metrics and reduce reporting sprawl. Training and change management were incorporated to drive usage across analytic consumers and creators.
Adoption was a core objective and La-Z-Boy measured success through user uptake and confidence in the platform. TJ Linz, Director of Strategy & Analytics at La-Z-Boy, stated We knew user adoption would be critical to our success, but we weren’t 100% sure how to approach it, After this engagement we have the tools we need to drive adoption forward with confidence. The Domo implementation provided the tooling and governance framework for ongoing adoption activities within the Analytics and BI program.
