| Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017 Ladbrokes Coral Group implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as the central ERP Financial platform for a finance integration programme tied to M&A activity with GVC Group. The implementation was explicitly scoped to consolidate financial processes and systems and align finance with a broader global integration programme covering customer service, fraud, risk, payments, responsible gambling, and anti-money laundering.
Oracle Cloud ERP was configured to support core finance functions consistent with ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger consolidation, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and finance data migration into Oracle Fusion. The team completed a detailed mapping exercise of all manual and automated interfaces to Oracle E Business Suite R12 to define the migration strategy and data conversion rules into Oracle Cloud ERP.
The programme consolidated operations teams to prepare migration readiness for more than 20m customers and coordinated the move from separate Gala, Coral, and Ladbrokes brand stacks to the GVC technology stack, which included decommissioning Salesforce in customer operations. Migration activities included interface rationalization from Oracle E Business Suite and the identification of automation opportunities, with RPA contracts and bot implementations governed as part of the technology scope to automate agent services.
Governance was delivered through orchestration of project management leadership across ten plus workstreams covering operational readiness, change management, technology, and customer journey assessment. The programme drove organisational design changes to a new global operating model, managed the closure of a London office impacting over 200 employees, and established cross functional decision forums to oversee interdependent project activities and vendor decisions.
The finance integration effort included a targeted cost reduction exercise aimed at just under £10m within a wider £100m programme, and the Oracle Cloud ERP deployment served as the finance consolidation backbone supporting those integration and operational readiness objectives. Oracle Cloud ERP, as the selected ERP Financial application, was central to the data migration, interface rationalization, and governance approach documented during the programme.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018 Ladbrokes Coral Group implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management to formalize absence processing within its Absence and Leave Management footprint and to align absence controls with global payroll and compensation operations. The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management deployment was positioned alongside ongoing Oracle payroll and compensation workstreams to standardize absence plans and automate carryover and event calculations across the employee population.
Implementation focused on configuring absence plan components and payroll-relevant artifacts, including creation of carryover formulas for vacation plans, event formulas for anniversaries, sub formulas and dynamic value sets to replicate functions no longer available in cloud formula contexts. Functional configuration included balances and entitlement calculations, creation of elements and fastformulas, user defined tables and descriptive flexfields to support payroll interfacing and accurate absence accounting.
The absence module was integrated operationally with Oracle Payroll and Compensation processes and supported both Oracle R12 and Oracle HCM Cloud environments as part of the broader platform portfolio. Work included building a workforce plan for a global group bonus plan with assignment segments to apportion payments, authoring SQL and PL SQL extracts and HDL scripts to export data from Oracle HCM Cloud, and supporting four weekly and monthly payroll runs for approximately 22,000 payroll records.
Governance and rollout activities were centered on UAT and go live support, creation of BR100 configuration documentation and test artifacts, acting as point of contact for payroll and compensation enhancements, and leading business case development and project management for onboarding additional payrolls. Configuration and operational ownership emphasized documented test processes, escalation for payroll and absence errors, and ongoing analysis of enhancement requests within payroll and compensation.

| LiveChat, Inc. | Legacy | LiveChat | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Ladbrokes Coral Group deployed LiveChat as part of its Chatbots and Conversational AI capabilities inside the East London contact centre to add a dedicated real time chat channel alongside voice and mail workflows. The LiveChat implementation supported an operational model where a primary team of 20 agents handled customer chat interactions and duty managers oversaw the contact centre floor, scaling to supervise 40 to 50 agents when senior management were off shift.
The LiveChat application was configured to deliver agent routing, session handoff and real time monitoring consistent with chat and conversational tooling, enabling advisors to be assigned to Live Chat alongside Social Media, palps and MailQ responsibilities. Configuration included agent skill assignment and scheduling adherence monitoring, and the platform was used as a frontline tool for improving first contact resolution through structured coaching and side by side training.
Operational scope extended across Customer Support and Telebet functions and required close coordination with Responsible Gambling, Payments, Account Security and Verification teams to resolve complex queries. The LiveChat deployment was embedded into existing contact centre operations, working with Training, Resource Planning, Realtime and Quality Assurance teams to manage agent rostering, interval reporting and skills coverage for specific event driven workloads.
Governance and process work focused on formalizing coaching, appraisals and disciplinary workflows tied to LiveChat performance metrics, running calibration sessions to align Quality Assurance scoring and organizing refresher training with the Training Manager to close knowledge gaps. The implementation also emphasized operational controls such as real time adherence to scheduled breaks and correct status coding, and a targeted initiative to implement one call resolution through additional training and continuous feedback.
