In 2020, Learning Links implemented Martian Logic Core HR, deploying Core HR to establish a formal HR information system for the not for profit. The deployment was driven by the People and Culture function and intended to consolidate employee records, standardize HR workflows, and introduce digital HR case handling across the organisation.
Martian Logic Core HR was configured to support core HR capabilities including employee master data management, applicant tracking for recruitment, structured onboarding workflows, and compliance tracking. The implementation used category aligned functionality such as position management, role based access controls, and audit oriented record keeping, and it automated routine HR enquiries and onboarding checklists to reduce manual administration.
The solution was integrated with the Definitiv payroll platform to preserve payroll data cohesion and enable HR to pay process continuity. Operational scope centered on the People and Culture department reporting into the General Manager People and Culture, covering recruitment, onboarding, compliance maintenance, policy updates, and day to day HR and payroll enquiries across the organisation in Australia.
Governance and rollout included creation of a compliance matrix and formalised policy workflows to support organisational strategy and controlled adoption. Explicit outcomes documented during the program were the organisation's first HRIS platform implementation via Martian Logic Core HR and the introduction of Definitiv payroll integration as part of the initial phase of digital adoption.
