In 2015 Legacy Supply Chain implemented UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) to manage Time and Attendance for its hourly workforce. The rollout focused on time capture and payroll export workflows for hourly employees across the company’s United States distribution operations, aligning system configuration to standard timekeeping and exception management requirements.
The deployment configured UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper to perform core Time and Attendance functions including clock data ingestion, timecard editing, exception processing, accrual and pay rule calculations, supervisor approvals, and timekeeper console operations. The implementation included configuration of time codes and pay rules consistent with distribution payroll needs, and the UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper instance was set up to produce formatted Kronos time files for downstream payroll consumption.
Integration work centered on a file-based handoff to UltiPro payroll, specifically importing Kronos time files into UltiPro software’s payroll system, with mapping of pay codes and validation rules to support reconciliation. Operational ownership was structured between payroll and HR for file reconciliation and payroll exports, while distribution supervisors retained approval responsibilities through the timekeeper workflows.
Legacy Supply Chain, UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper), Time and Attendance supported the company business function by centralizing hourly time capture, exception handling, and payroll export processes to UltiPro payroll. The configuration emphasized standard Time and Attendance controls, role-based timekeeper operations, and a structured file export process for UltiPro integration.
