TradeShift Legacy Tradeshift Pay AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2016 2016
In 2016 LGSS implemented Tradeshift Pay to address supplier invoicing and payment workflows under the AP Automation category. The organization planned a platform go live in late October 2016, with an expectation that the lion's share of suppliers would be onboarded by March 2017. Tradeshift Pay was chosen to provide a free supplier-facing portal that helps buyers and suppliers connect, transact and collaborate. LGSS configured Tradeshift Pay to support core AP Automation capabilities, including supplier onboarding, electronic invoice capture and submission, automated invoice routing and approvals, and payment initiation workflows consistent with accounts payable orchestration. Configuration emphasized supplier self-service enrollment and invoice visibility to reduce manual invoice handling across buyer teams. The deployment covered operational service lines across IT, healthcare, highways and transportation, maintenance, gardening, plumbing and heating, aligning supplier workflows for nearly 33,000 contractors engaged by LGSS. The implementation centralized supplier interactions for procurement and accounts payable functions, consolidating invoice intake and status tracking onto the Tradeshift Pay platform. Rollout governance focused on staged supplier outreach and enrollment with buyer-side change control to drive adoption. Tradeshift Pay’s global footprint, already used by more than 800,000 businesses in nearly 190 countries, supported LGSS’s objective of offering a quick, simple, efficient and free supplier experience while enabling closer buyer supplier collaboration.
