Oracle Legacy Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2008 2008
In 2008, LINPAC Packaging implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne deployment, categorized as ERP Financial, was scoped to support UK operations in Featherstone and St. Helens and German sites in Beeskow and Ritterhude as part of a conversion and development enhancement project. The implementation covered configured modules for Forecasting, Manufacturing, Sales and core financials, with configuration aimed at aligning planning and transactional finance workflows. Workstreams included data conversion and targeted development enhancements to adapt site specific processes into EnterpriseOne 8.12. All sites were moving from JDE World to Enterprise One 8.12, with initial go lives executed for the UK and German locations under a coordinated cutover sequence. A follow on contract focused on mentoring the internal technical team and providing ongoing technical support to stabilize operations and transfer institutional knowledge. Governance shifted to centralize application support and technical ownership within LINPAC Packaging while leveraging contracted resources to complete conversion, enhancements and technical mentoring. The program combined multi site rollout sequencing, module level configuration across Forecasting, Manufacturing, Sales and financials, and a defined support and knowledge transfer phase to sustain Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial operations.
