In 2016 LiveTiles implemented Cloud Elements API Integration Platform as the integration backbone for its digital workplace product. The Cloud Elements API Integration Platform was deployed as the API Management layer to unify cloud document and storage providers and to support content and document management and digital experience platform features in the APAC region.
The implementation centralized connector logic and exposed a unified API surface for storage services, using Cloud Elements to encapsulate provider-specific authentication, file metadata mappings, and content access workflows. Functional capabilities emphasized connector management, API orchestration, and developer-focused abstraction to accelerate integration of new storage endpoints.
Integrations were explicitly built for OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, and Dropbox, enabling LiveTiles to present consistent content management and DXP capabilities across multiple cloud storage providers. Operational scope covered the company digital workplace product in APAC, impacting product engineering and content management workflows rather than only point integrations.
Governance and release practices were adapted to leverage the integration backbone, standardizing connector onboarding and reducing maintenance overhead for developer teams. The Cloud Elements implementation reduced development and maintenance effort, enabling LiveTiles to add new storage integrations quickly and to accelerate two week release cycles.
