In 2008, Loomis implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) to manage Field Service Management for its custody, transportation and ATM security operations. The deployment positioned Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) alongside Order Management modules to provide ETA orchestration and order lifecycle controls across field operations.
Implementation scope included Payables, Fixed Assets, Service Contracts and Advanced Pricing, together with a highly customized transportation, ATM security and cargo management system based on Oracle Field Service and Order Management modules. Configuration emphasized service contract administration and advanced pricing rules to align field service billing with custody and logistics workflows.
Architecturally the solution combined field scheduling, ETA orchestration and order management capabilities typical of Field Service Management solutions, with mobile-enabled execution and back-office financial integration patterns implied by the presence of payables and fixed assets modules. Operational coverage targeted transportation, ATM security and cargo management business functions and connected field teams to order processing and finance processes.
Governance introduced consolidated workflows for contract lifecycle and order fulfillment, embedding Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) into operational processes rather than discrete point tools. Rollout centered on standardizing scheduling and service contract workflows across the affected business units.
