In 2012 Lootah Group implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform across its Dubai operations. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment at Lootah Group covered core finance and operational back office functions and served as the primary ERP Financial system for more than 50 business units within the group.
The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation included Oracle EBS R12 financial modules such as Procurement PO, Accounts Payable AP, Cash Management CE, General Ledger GL, Fixed Assets FA, Accounts Receivable AR, System Administration and Workflow, alongside HRMS, discrete and non discrete manufacturing, OPM, ODM, SCM and financial analytics capabilities. Operational responsibilities documented for the environment included system administration, user maintenance, month and year end rollover processes, ADI and FSG configuration, cloning and patching of Oracle Applications R12, and managing Oracle service requests.
Integrations implemented as part of the Oracle E-Business Suite rollout included time attendance device integration, diesel dispenser machine integration, integration of the Marcotte ready mix concrete batching plant application with Oracle E-Business Suite, Spotfire BI Tool development and integration, fleet management application interfaces and web site projects. The technical footprint referenced Oracle 11g and Db2 databases, WebLogic middleware, Oracle Linux and Windows Server platforms, Discoverer and XML Publisher reporting, and routine application monitoring, patching and troubleshooting as part of ongoing operations.
Governance and rollout followed AIMS methodologies with structured project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and close processes led by an IT project manager reporting to executive leadership.
