The environment supported discovery workflows and document review coordination, and was used to prepare petition schedules, pleadings and general correspondence on behalf of attorneys.
Operational integrations and tooling included coordinated use of Concordance for document review and citation verification workflows that relied on LexisNexis and Westlaw content for Shepardizing and cite checking. The platform supported computerized electronic filing workflows for New York, New Jersey and Delaware courts, and integrated citation checks and docket tracking into routine pleading preparation.
Governance and process changes focused on centralized calendar management, maintenance of service lists, and standardized procedures for filing and appearance scheduling, with responsibility for training new paralegals embedded into the operational model. Paralegals used Lexis Affinity to manage daily litigation tasks, assist attorneys at hearings and trials, and support pro bono matters including domestic violence, election protection and disaster relief work.
