In 2010, LS Cable & System implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial system. The deployment targeted core financial control and manufacturing finance workflows to support the companys manufacturing operations and finance organization.
The implementation centralized Financial Accounting and Controlling capabilities alongside Materials Management and Inventory Management modules to support long term inventory management, inventory turnover management, BOM adequacy checks, and cost accounting for manufactured and OEM parts. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to provide standard ledger posting, cost center and profit center reporting, material master governance, and BOM validation routines used by production planners and inventory managers.
Operational coverage included finance, production planning, inventory control, and SCM functions, with the system aligned to OEM and parts management for automotive and semiconductor components. The implementation was instrumented to feed shop floor and manufacturing planning workflows, and to support quality and environmental management processes required by ISO9001 and IATF standards.
Governance and process transformation emphasized process planning and continuous improvement, with Six Sigma methods and factory safety oversight integrated into operational workflows. A product manager with over ten years of SAP utilization led ongoing process optimization, using SAP ERP ECC 6.0 data to establish measures for mid to long term production capacity and to drive inventory and BOM governance.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2005 | 2005 |
In 2005, LS Cable & System implemented SAP HCM (HR) as part of a company-wide mySAP ERP and mySAP SCM deployment. The deployment included SAP HCM (HR) positioned as the Core HR application within a broader integrated enterprise solution and moved to full-scale Big Bang operation in July 2005.
The implementation scope combined mySAP ERP core modules with mySAP SCM components, notably APO version 4.1 and SAP for DIMP version 4.71, together with BW for enterprise reporting. SAP HCM (HR) was configured alongside these modules to support human resources management processes, while internal design systems and process management were concurrently reorganized to align HR workflows with supply chain and financial processes.
Architecturally the project unified ERP, SCM, and BW into a consolidated information system to enable integrated operations across manufacturing, supply chain planning, and HR functions. The integration approach emphasized synchronous planning and reporting flows between APO for supply chain planning and BW for business intelligence, with SAP HCM (HR) providing Core HR transactional and master data to the consolidated environment.
Governance and delivery were executed through joint consulting led by SAP with Accenture and LG CNS, with the program running from April 2004 to June 2005 and a Big Bang cutover in July 2005. LS Cable & System established internal implementation organization and management innovation oversight to embed the implemented processes and to directly deliver required functional adjustments during rollout.
The initiative explicitly targeted reduced total cost of ownership through integrated operation of company-wide information systems, anticipated synergy effects between departments, and faster customer response. LS Cable & System expected process innovation and cost savings as the primary outcomes from the SAP HCM (HR) Core HR deployment within the broader mySAP ERP and SCM program.
