Magentus Legacy Magentus eRequests Medical Practice Management ERP Services and Operations Kailo Medical 2025 2025
In 2025, Lumus Imaging deployed Magentus eRequests across its national radiology network in Australia, using Magentus eRequests as a Medical Practice Management application to introduce FHIR-based digital requesting. The rollout established secure electronic sharing of referral information and immediate patient access to digital requests, aligning referral intake with structured clinical data exchange across sites. The implementation concentrated on digital referral intake, request status tracking, and patient access capabilities within Magentus eRequests, configured to capture structured referral data and exchange FHIR resources for orders and identifiers. Workflow controls and templates were configured to route requests to radiology departments and to surface status updates to referring specialists, reducing manual paperwork and administrative handoffs. Kailo Medical supported the deployment via the KailoHub, providing deployment orchestration and integration services for consistent configuration across Lumus Imaging sites. The solution used FHIR-standard APIs to enable secure referral exchange and to integrate request lifecycle visibility with local radiology operational workflows at national sites in Australia. Governance focused on standardizing request templates, clinician onboarding, and central configuration management to maintain consistent request status transparency and reduce variation in intake processes. The rollout reduced paperwork and clinician administrative load while improving transparency of request status for referring specialists.
