In 2020 Lux Med deployed Talk-A-Bot to support patient-facing communication across its Poland operations. Talk-A-Bot is an external communication chatbot in the Chatbots and Conversational AI category that was built to help patients find doctors and book appointments and to relieve pressure on telephone-based customer service.
The implementation delivered provider search and automated appointment booking modules, including guided booking flows and confirmation messaging. Identification and patient matching within workflows used TAJ and phone-number identification as explicit inputs to the booking process, and the solution applied conversational intent recognition and scripted handoff rules to escalate complex cases to human agents.
Integrations explicitly included TAJ and phone-number identification, and the chatbot was applied to healthcare customer service touchpoints across Poland to automate appointment booking and provider discovery. Operational coverage centered on patient service and call-center interfaces, with the bots handling initial triage, availability lookup and booking orchestration tied into Lux Med appointment processes.
The deployment of Talk-A-Bot substantially reduced telephone call-center load and improved self-service rates, easing call-center pressure. Talk-A-Bot as a Chatbots and Conversational AI application centralized self-service appointment booking and provider search for Lux Med in Poland.
