Bank and cash application processing was implemented using Lockbox and electronic bank statement formats, with specific configuration for BAI2 and SWIFT MT940 file handling and bank statement posting rules defined in the Treasury Module. Customer and vendor master data were transported into SAP ERP ECC 6.0 through LSMW, and costing based CO-PA was configured including operating concern setup, characteristics and value fields, costing variant and cost component split. Governance and rollout followed a structured business analysis and testing cadence, with Executive Business Analysis meetings to capture AS-IS and TO-BE requirements and development of functional specifications for more than 10 RICEFW objects. The program included development and QA environments, end user training, documentation and sign off, and post-go-live functional support including validation of the account assignment model for eight weeks.
