The Manufacturing Management instance was integrated into the broader JD Edwards suite environment to synchronize inventory and distribution transactions, and to support point of sale and distribution reporting that the Director previously administered. Governance and rollout were led by the companys Director of Information Systems who acted as project manager and lead trainer, providing instructor led training and post go live support for users. The Director had prior responsibility for JD Edwards World on IBM AS400 and led an infrastructure and application upgrade that was delivered on time and under budget saving $100000, reflecting an internal governance model focused on in house training and incremental release control.
