| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, MAPFRE implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as part of the Mejora de Sistemas Ciclo de Vida del Mediador program. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment addressed ERP Financial requirements and delivered an integrated management platform for insurance mediation professionals, explicitly covering front office and back office workflows for mediator lifecycle management.
The implementation architecture combined SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with SAP HCM to manage people and role data, SAP GUI and SAP Portal for user access and self-service, and Cognos for reporting and analytics. Business rules and decision logic were externalized to a BRMS component while SAP PI and SOA patterns were used to orchestrate synchronous and asynchronous integration flows, aligning standard ERP Financial processes with mediation-specific transaction lifecycles.
Integrations included on-premise enterprise services and packaged interfaces to Meta4, Calendra, Infored, Sismap, Sired, TRON, Gesvida and an Oracle database, reflecting a hybrid application topology where SAP PI acted as the integration hub. The design explicitly supported end-to-end processes spanning mediator onboarding, contract administration, commission calculation, and back office reconciliation within the ERP Financial context.
Project governance ran from June 2010 to March 2011, led by a Jefe de Proyecto with a 10 person team, using MpM methodology and UML for requirements and design. The rollout emphasized structured configuration, rules externalization via BRMS, and portal-based user experiences to standardize mediator lifecycle operations across MAPFRE business units.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, MAPFRE implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation to centralize its Compensation Management capability across corporate and country HR functions. The deployment was positioned within the Corporate Technology Area and Human Capital Solutions team, supporting Corporate People and Organization and HR departments in global processes while staffed with SuccessFactors specialists based in Madrid.
Configuration emphasis targeted the Compensation module alongside strong Employee Central integration, reflecting in-house operational ownership of EC and CMP functional and technical administration. The implementation included module-level configuration, rule and eligibility schema setup, and ongoing platform maintenance and automation tasks managed by the SuccessFactors IT Specialist role.
Technical expectations referenced in hiring notes indicate the environment values reporting and integration tooling, with knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI, BTP HANA and SCPI, and Power Platform cited as valuable for analytics, data orchestration, and technical extensions. These capabilities inform the technical footprint for compensation data flows and analytic consumption without prescribing specific third-party connectors.
Governance and delivery followed MAPFRE project methodology, with responsibilities for requirement gathering, stakeholder liaison, agile platform support, scope definition, project phase oversight, budget monitoring, and periodic reporting. Operational coverage included corporate and country HR teams, and the SuccessFactors IT Specialist function served as the locus for incident resolution, change control, and ongoing platform evolution.

| GT Motive | Legacy | GT Fusion TM | Insurance Claims Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011 MAPFRE Asistencia implemented GT Fusion TM in an Insurance Claims Management deployment to standardize vehicle damage valuations across France, Italy and Portugal. The engagement centered on GT Motive's valuation solution GT Estimate to perform vehicle damage valuations for MAPFRE guarantee products, targeting roughly 25,000 annual valuations and aiming to reduce average claim costs and improve competitiveness in claims handling.
Implementation focused on centralized estimation workflows and configurable valuation logic typical of Insurance Claims Management platforms, including a valuation engine, templated estimate generation, and regional labor and parts configuration. GT Fusion TM was instrumented to support rule based estimation and consistent damage assessment templates, enabling underwriters and claims handlers to apply uniform pricing and scope rules across the three countries.
Operationally the solution was scoped to claims operations and guarantee product teams across France, Italy and Portugal, aligning vehicle valuation outputs with claims handling processes and adjuster workflows. Integrations were implemented to feed estimation outputs into insurer claims processes and case management workflows, supporting end to end claims adjudication and repair authorization without naming specific third party systems.
Governance emphasized standardization of valuation controls and regional configuration governance, accompanied by role based access for adjusters and centralized update processes for pricing rules. The rollout aimed to improve competitiveness in claims handling and to reduce average claim costs, reflecting the stated objectives in the deployment announcement rather than measured post implementation outcomes.
