WorkForce Software Legacy Workforce EmpLive Absence Management Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2012 2012 In 2012, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership implemented Workforce EmpLive Absence Management as part of a broader deployment of the WorkForce Suite. The deployment targeted Absence and Leave Management and was applied across MLSE venues to support time and attendance, scheduling and absence management for HR and operations in Canada. Workforce EmpLive Absence Management was configured to manage core absence workflows including leave requests, approvals and leave balance tracking, and to operate alongside the scheduling and time collection components of the WorkForce Suite. The implementation delivered employee self service capabilities for submitting and viewing leave, and manager interfaces for approving absences and adjusting staffing plans. Operational coverage included venue level operations with centralized HR administration for Canadian sites, embedding absence controls into staffing and payroll adjacent processes. Following the 2012 implementation MLSE reported reduced labor costs, improved staffing agility and broader employee self service as outcomes of the rollout.
