In 2014 MapMyUser implemented MapMyUser Web Analytics to instrument its public website and establish a behavioral analytics capability. The deployment uses MapMyUser Web Analytics, classified as Marketing Analytics, to capture page level events, custom event tracking, funnel analysis, session recording and dashboarding for insight into user journeys.
The implementation follows a lightweight web instrumentation pattern with client side tagging and event schemas feeding the MapMyUser Web Analytics dashboards, enabling marketing and product teams to analyze engagement and conversion flows.
