In 2020, Marchex implemented Snowflake Data Warehouse, adopting Snowflake as its Data Warehouse platform. The customer relationship is listed on Snowflake's public customer site, and the deployment was positioned to consolidate analytics workloads and centralize enterprise data for Marchex's analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering functions.
Snowflake Data Warehouse was configured to leverage cloud-native architectural patterns typical of the product, including separation of storage and compute, elastic virtual warehouses for workload isolation, and native support for structured and semi structured data. Configuration work focused on SQL analytics, centralized table schemas, and a semantic layer to support reporting and ad hoc analysis.
Operational implementation included ingestion and ELT pipelines, curated datasets for downstream BI and reporting, and governance controls aligned to role based access and data lifecycle features such as time travel and cloning. The rollout targeted core data engineering, analytics, and reporting teams, and established query level workload segregation to manage concurrent analytical workloads.
Governance and process changes emphasized centralized data access policies and cataloging to standardize reuse of analytical models and datasets. The Snowflake Data Warehouse implementation provided a consolidated platform for Marchex to manage enterprise data and to orchestrate analytics and reporting workflows across its business functions.

In 2019, Marchex implemented LeanData Matching to support Account Based Marketing across sales and marketing operations. The LeanData Matching deployment focused on database cleanup and lead routing, enabling incoming leads to be matched to accounts and routed to the correct sales rep, aligning sales and marketing teams and accelerating time-to-revenue.
The implementation used LeanData Matching's core matching and routing capabilities, with configuration of matching rules, deduplication logic, and routing rules to automate assignment to owners and queues.
